The phone is smashed, but she, being the scientific genius that she is, Jessica gets the phone to work and dials a random number, which calls the cell phone of Ryan (Chris Evans).

Alien vs Predator review
With its out-of-place PG-13 rating, poor acting, awful writing and mediocre direction, 'AvP' disappoints the fans at every turn — Fox has taken two of their greatest franchises and turned them into a joke. This is nothing more than typical action fare — which, all considered, isn't much of a compliment at all.

Bourne Supremacy
Jason Bourne (Matt Damon), amnesiac former killer for the CIA, is being hunted again by the CIA, as he is framed for a crime he did not commit. He must run to various exotic locations to escape bad guys. It has a plot with intrigue and twists. The movie is so intense the only breather you get is just minutes before it ends.

King Arthur
The chief problem with this movie is that it takes itself very seriously. The opening scroll-down boldly announces that historical research has now established the truth behind the legend of Arthur. With that said, we, the audience, are then supposed to believe that what is presented in the movie is historical fact....

Spider-man 2 Review

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Finally! A breath of fresh air comes to the Harry Potter series! After the two good, but not great, films directed by Chris Columbus, which were both pretty much the same, something new had to come to the series. Something that could take this series and spin it in a whole new direction. Something to make this children's series a bit less childish.

Shrek 2 Review
The main problem of Shrek 2 is that everyone forgets that they have a first movie that they need to live up to. Although the animation, groundbreaking in the first, was the same, the plot and the characters lack in freshness.

Troy

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a genius creation. Not only is it his funniest movie, but it's also the most coherent and most enjoyable movie.

Van Helsing
Every other scene contradicts the other, and there are so many plot holes and unnecessary plot developments that it's hardly worth following. Now, before you chastise me for taking an action movie too seriously, let me go into the plot.

Hellboy Review
Hellboy ReviewHellboy the latest work by director Guillermo del Toro is also another comic book adaptation. This is also not the first time del Toro has directed a movie based on comic book characters. His first being the sequel to Blade, Blade 2. Ron Perlman who plays the title role of Hellboy is no stranger to the comic book world or del Toro....

Starsky and Hutch Review
Would someone please explain to me why when Hollywood makes a remake of a TV show they don't stay true to the TV show and make up something so off-center from the original that it may as well have been something else in the first place?

Along Came Polly
Ben Stiller is back, playing the hyper paranoid and over cautious insurance salesman Reuben Feffer, who's life is about to be turned upside down by Polly Prince (Jennifer Aniston)

Honey
Poor Jessica Alba, her movie career is not starting off good with this extremely long music video. Jessica Alba's TV series Dark Angel was canceled last year and Jessica has now begun her career as a movie actress. Will she make it?

Stuck on You
Maybe you saw "Me, Myself and Irene" and "Shallow Hal" and thought that the Farrelly brothers might be losing their comedic mojo. Maybe you heard that they were now making a movie about siamese twins and thought it was a terrible idea. Maybe you saw the trailer and still thought it wouldn't be any good.

Mona Lisa Smile
I assumed this was another Julia Roberts romantic comedy. But its more than that. Julia is art history teacher Katherine Watson, in her first session at the all girl Wellesley, at the beginning of the 1953-54 first semester.

Return of the King Review
So is it any good? Is the conclusion that we Tolkien fans have been waiting so many long years for worth the blood, sweat, time, and tears it took to manufacture?

Intolerable Cruelty
Miles Massey is Los Angeles's sharpest divorce lawyer, helping hundreds of the very guilty get away with all their money intact. Hired by the flagrantly culpable Rex Rexroth to help judiciously screw his gold-digging wife, Marylin out of millions...

Underworld
This is one movie where I can frankly describe as simply stupid and dumb, yet the superficial beauty that was presented right before my eyes covered almost all what was there to hide. The point is, despite its being dumb and stupid, the lack of intelligence was made up for by presenting the whole thing

Disney and Knightley expected to do well at the Crimsons
Rumours are floating around the industry as to nominations for the coveted 2003 Imperial Crimsons award.

Kill Bill : Volume 1
It's been 6 years since Quentin Tarantino last shot up the big screen with his blacksploitation homage and career masterwork, `Jackie Brown.' I can think of a long list of directors I would love to see take lengthy sabbaticals, and Tarantino isn't one them...

Veronica Guerin
This biopic is based on the true story of Irish journalist Veronica Guerin (Cate Blanchett), whose investigative reporting on Dublin's drug underworld led to numerous attempts on her life. She became a heroine in the eyes of the locals, who praised her for eventually giving her life to tell the truth.

Lost in Translation
Lost in Translation   Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson) is in Tokyo with her husband John (Giovanni Ribisi), who is a photographer who barely has time for her. He wouldn't have noticed even if she hadn't gone along with him to Japan. She is staying in the same hotel as Bob Harris (Bill Murray), a once-big movie star...

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
LXG   The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is anything but. In fact, Stephen Norrington's Gentlemen is so contrived, boring, and dull, it's like watching paint dry while listening to a broken record of Gilbert Gottfried's greatest jokes.

Gigli
It's no secret that Jeniffer Lopez's acting career has taken something of a downtown these last few years. After such promising films such as Out of Sight and the visually stunning "The Cell" she's bombed with the likes of Maid in Manhattan and Angel Eyes, so is Gigli enough to save her career?

Spy Kids 3D
After witnessing the atrocity named Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams, I vowed never to give any money to the franchise. And then I found myself in line waiting to buy a ticket for Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over only for the 3-D aspect of it.

American Wedding
The time has come for college sweethearts Jim and Michelle to get engaged, prompting elation from Jim's Dad, and his friends Finch and Kevin. As the wedding plans get underway, the last person they want on the invite list is notorious troublemaker, Steven Stiffler.

Bad Boys 2
Watching a Jerry Bruckheimer produced film is the cinematic equivalent of consuming empty calories. It will fill you up, but it ends up taking up space that could be occupied by things that are better for you. "Bad Boys II" is no exception to this rule.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider : The Cradle Of Life
Based on the Lara Croft series of `Tomb Raider' video games, `Cradle Of Life' comes after the critical and creative drubbing `Tomb 1' took back in 2001. The years have been kind to Croft and this new adventure is a large improvement over the original.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
One of the big releases of the summer finally arrives, but is it a swash buckling adventure or a damp squib? Well, with Johnny Depp in eye liner you could be forgiven for thinking this would be the same as all his other films... but you'd be wrong...dead wrong.

Johnny English
He knows no fear. He knows no danger. He knows nothing!
Spoof of the James Bond films. Rowan Atkinson plays the part very well while John Malkovich and newcomer Natalie Ambruglia give competent performances. This slapstick comedy will make you cringe and laugh at the same time.

Welcome to Collinwood
Welcome to Collinwood   Five guys. One safe. No brains.
Small time crooks plan a big time heist with the help of the wheel chair bound safe cracker George Clooney. With the highly talented cast this is a good first film by the Russo brothers.

Anger Management
Anger Management   `I'm retarded,' Dave Buznik (Adam Sandler) tells Buddy Rydell (Jack Nicholson), after Buddy tells Dave to retard his anger. Actually, that can be used to describe the majority of this movie...

The Monk find himself being the mentor of Seann William Scott in the city of San Fransisco where Kar is at home and the Monk is not. This unlikely duo find themselves on the run from the evil monk Karel Roden.

Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde

I'll admit it, I like sequels. I love ongoing stories that envelop the viewer, along with opportunities to dig in deeper with characters and situations. And then there's `Legally Blonde 2,' an impulsive cash-in from a hit-starved studio. It reeks of a rush job sent out to steal the remaining good will left behind by the original film.
