Troy Preview

A very long time ago (1193 bc to be precise!) a prince called Paris kidnapped the beautiful Greek Queen Helen, as one might expect her husband,  the King of Sparta wasnt best pleased with this, in fact he was so displeased he decided to start a war, commence all sorts of famous heroics.

Hoping to capitalise on the recent spate of epics, in the form of Gladiator and to a certain extent the Lord of the Rings Triology, Troy stars a handful of Hollywood a-listers and enough special effects to make Star Wars look realistic.

The plot follows the actions of Achilles (Brad Pitt), as he wages an unlimited war in the name of the king of Sparta, and also features up coming Brit actor Orlando Bloom.
