Actor Rupert Everett brands British soldiers 'pathetic, whining wimps'

Washed up movie star, Rupert Everett, has branded British soldiers whining wimps. The sickly looking actor made the comments during filming of a new series of documentaries.

The gay star has just finished filming a portrait of the 19th Century soldier and adventurer Sir Richard Burton for the Channel 4 documentary The Victorian Sex Explorer.

"The whole point of being in the Army is wanting to get killed, wanting to test yourself to the limits. Now you have to fly 15,000ft above the war zone to avoid getting hit.

“I don't think there is any point in having wars if that's how you're going to behave. It's pathetic. All this whining!"

Lets not forget that Everett recently appeared in a special edition of the Apprentice, during which he looked like a sick dog and sweated profusely. He then fled in the dead of night, leaving his team in the lurch. Despite the fact that it was all for charity. Well done Rupert, its little wonder he hasn't appeared in a major film in five years.
