Miami Vice reviewMaybe I'm the only person on the planet who never watched the original Miami Vice. Maybe not. Whatever the case I did have high expectations for this movie, after all it brings together two of Hollywood's faster rising stars, Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx.
What this film does is disappoint on so many levels. The dialogue jumps from one cliches to another, intermingled with parts that are mumured and a plot that just never makes any sense, we are lead from one sex scene to the next, from one action scene to the next. The entire thing is so predicatable, its boring.
There is a glimmer of hope at the start that Farrell and Foxx may be able to strike up some kind of chemisty, but the promise fails to materilise. The acting is one dimensional and wastes two very good actors.
Yet another flop I'm afraid. |
