Madagascar ReviewMadagascar is the latest animated adventure to grace our screens. Promising to offers laughs for both adults and kids it features an all star cast including Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and David Schwimmer.
The film however is far from funny. In reality there are only a few occassions that offer geniune laughs, the rest of the feature involves a bizzare plot (Why would you send Penguins to Kenya?!?!) and dodgy animation.
Ben Stiller is hardly recognizable as Alex the Lion, and must really be desperate to take this role, and Chris Rock becomes incredible annoying after only five minutes.
In short Madagascar is an astounding failure, and an indication that animation features cant be churned out if you want to reach the standards of Toy Stoy or A Bugs Life.
In short Madagascar is a film to avoid, and sure to be a box office flop. |
